Blacklight crystal an obsidian-colored, crystalline substance that radiates darkness, much like a source of light radiates light. An unusual property is that if the path of this darkness is interrupted, it produces a light, which has properties similar to those of a shadow.

Currently, the only location of blacklight crystal is a large structure floating several miles above the surface of the world.
